Being very afraid of bears, my daughter and grandkids weren't sure I should watch it when it first came out. Then they lost their copy of the dvd and asked me to order another which I did. It arrived well on time and at a quarter of the price in any retail store. I sat and watched it with my grandkids last weekend and love it.
Yes, the bear is big a scary, but it was overly portrayed to where it didn't look as real as I thought, so didn't affect me like bears used to. It is a very Scottish themed movie, so of course I loved that part of it, being born in Scotland myself. The accents were fabulous and I was trying to identify whose voices they were throughout the movie. When I saw the cast list at the end, I went, 'Oh, of course it was so and so, etc.!'

Brave is amongst my favourite of the recent Disney princess releases and I was excited to get this movie to share with my daughter. There are some dark elements to the story that may be frightening for a younger audience, but nothing that I would expect to be too distressing or cause nightmares. I appreciate having a main character that fights for herself rather than needing to be saved and I loved the underlying story about the relationship between mother and daughter. The animation is quite spectacular and the level of detail is incredible, particularly Merida's amazing red hair. I'm sure I'll have to watch this movie at least 20 times once I give it to my daughter, so I'm glad it's a good one.
I loved this movie when I first saw it in the theatres. This 3D version brings everything back - it's just spectacular to watch. Again, and again. Little Merida is absolutely adorable, and later on, between the shenanigans of her 3 little brothers (who never actually speak a word) and all of the clans come to win Merida's hand, my cheeks just ache from all the smiling. The story has some good lessons for children, but they'll never know they're learning them because they'll be enjoying the movie too much to realize it. This is another excellent movie with a fun storyline. We chose this based on the previews we saw of it, and also the fact that the movie was developed by a familiar name -- John Lasseter.
This is the same man who also was involved in such storylines as Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, Ratatouille, Up et al. We enjoyed these other movies that were done by him and so we took our chances. I don't think that there is anything more that I can say in regards to how to explain the storyline as others have explained the storyline just fine. Fab 3000 v6 keygen crack software. My husband and I both had some good laughs out of it and we also thought that the price was not too bad. (Now that the price has gone up because of the Christmas season coming up, I'd wait until after the New Year to get it though, unless you can get it for a more reasonable price somewhere else). We both feel that this is another good investment to our movie library and would recommend it to anyone else that likes these kind of movies. The cinematography was great, the storyline was just as good and for the price I paid for it, it was worth every penny!
