December 14, 2005 The recall involves Honda 2005 and 2006 model year TRX400EX ATVs. They are adult-sized ATVs designed for use by riders age 16 and older. The 2005 model year ATVs are available in red and yellow.
The 2006 model year ATVs are available in red or black. The TRX400EX model name is on the fuel tank and Honda is in white letters on the seat. December 8, 2005 The recall involves Kawasaki 2005 model year KVF750-A1 and KVF750-B1 Brute Force ATVs. These models are 750cc V-twin All Terrain Vehicles available in Red, Green, Yellow, and Camouflage colorings. They have 'Kawasaki' and 'Brute Force' on the sides of the bodywork below the handlebars, and 'V-Twin 750' on the sides of the rear fenders.

The following Kawasaki ATV models are included in this recall: Prairie 300, Prairie 300 4x4, Prairie 360, Prairie 360 4x4, Prairie 400, Prairie 400 4x4, Prairie 650 4x4, Prairie 700 4x4, and Brute Force 650 4x4. The model numbers can be found on the identification label located on the frame of the ATV. 'Prairie' or 'Brute Force' is printed on each side of the vehicle's gas tank.
July 28, 2005 The recall includes all 2004-2005 Suzuki LT-V700F TwinPeaks™ ATVs. These ATVs are yellow or blue in color and have 'TwinPeaks' written on the fuel tank. July 1, 2005 The recalled 9-inch ATV aftermarket rear wheels have a model number of 0990 YHR. The rear wheels were manufactured from February 15, 2005 through May 2005. The recalled wheel can be used as the rear wheel on ATVs having the following bolt patterns: four bolts on a 110mm circle or four bolts on a 115mm circle. The center section of the wheel is made of aluminum and has eight bolt holes. June 24, 2005 Only select model year Polaris ATVs are part of this recall.

The Scrambler 500 ATV model and serial number identification decal is located on top of the front cab cover. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), or serial number is also permanently stamped into the left frame rail behind the left front wheel of all Polaris ATVs. Affected units can be verified by comparing the last six digits of the VIN to the serial number range in bold typed below. NOTE: Not all 2004.5 and 2005 model year vehicles are affected.

There are three positions marked on my 99 king quad. On, Reserve and Prime. On - is for running the machine normally.
Reserve - is for running when the tank gets low. Gives you time to get back and refill the tank. Prime - is for priming the carb after the float bowl has been emp tied i.e. After storing for the winter or working on the carb. Both the on and reserve positions require a vacuum for gas to flow.
